What had to be solved
Before signing with a web agency, a business owner often has nothing but its shop window to judge by: a fine-looking website can hide a bought template, code generated without know-how, or an agency that vanishes at the first bug. CodeOuPas had to give them a way to check before paying: the testimony of those who went before them, and a technical analysis of the agency's website, in two minutes. The subject touches money and reputation, and a review platform is only worth the rigour of its method. Yet people had to want to come in, to come back, and to leave their own account in turn.
The workshop's answer
Our stance: treat a serious subject as an arcade game, and hold the method to the millimetre. A red panda leads the investigation, the page is played in levels, and the call to testify opens on “press start”: the tone disarms suspicion and makes people want to tell their story. Behind the game, every review rests on facts, eight signals ticked rather than a mood, every author is verified by a code, and the method is published in full, as the law requires of review platforms. The game serves the investigation, never the other way round.

Eight verifiable signals, ticked in every review on top of the stars: skill, delivery, security, the basics of the trade, legal, quote, copying, fake reviews.
The panda's analysis: an automated check of each agency's website, scored out of a hundred, with its report to download as a PDF.
A review published only after a code sent to its author's address, and a right of reply for every agency, beneath the review.
