Less expensive, because paid monthly
A website is expensive mostly because you pay for it all at once. An agency prices the design, the copywriting and the launch, then presents the invoice before the site even exists; upkeep is negotiated separately, when it is planned at all. We chose the opposite: no setup fee, and a monthly subscription that covers creation as well as upkeep. The entry price falls accordingly, without anything being taken away from the work.
This model has a counterpart, and we state it upfront: the site stays under our roof. You keep your content and your domain name, whatever happens; the code itself remains the property of the house, which looks after it for as long as you subscribe. That is what lets us carry the design without billing you for it in advance. The commitment is twelve months, then open-ended.
Affordable does not mean rushed. The site is drawn for you, with its own art direction and mock-ups; its core copy is written; its search foundations and your Google listing are laid from the start. After that, amendments are unlimited: a change of opening hours, a new service, a photo to replace, you only need to write to us.

Their set-up is included: domain name, security certificate, backups, e-mail. The hosting and the domain name themselves are paid for separately.
Your content stays yours
Texts, photos, domain name: what you bring remains yours, and you take it back when the subscription ends.
The code stays with the house
The site is designed and looked after by the atelier, which keeps ownership of it. It is the counterpart of having no upfront fee, and we would rather say so here.
What people ask us about the price
Because a site paid for once ages on its own: every amendment, every fix, every redesign then has to be paid for. The subscription spreads the design over time and adds the upkeep, unlimited amendments and the Google listing. You know each month what you pay, and the site stays up to date.
Hosting and the domain name are paid for separately from the plan; their set-up is included. Amounts exclude VAT. For an online shop or a site you run yourself, it is The Rise, at €160 a month excluding VAT.
The subscription continues with no fixed term: the site stays online and looked after. If you stop, you leave with your content and your domain name; the code remains the property of the house, as we state from the outset.
