What had to be solved
An artisan pizzeria sets up in Plélan-le-Grand, on the edge of the Brocéliande forest: twenty-nine recipes baked to order, three sizes, and delivery within ten kilometres of the oven. Its customers are a small town and its seven neighbouring villages, who order by phone and choose in a few seconds. The site therefore had to work in a single gesture on a phone: the whole menu, one price per size, the delivery area, and the number always within thumb's reach. Above all, it had to give a voice to a house that had not yet opened its door.
The workshop's answer
Our stance: tell the story of the house rather than line up photographs of pizzas. The legend of the lost Z, drawn as a five-panel comic strip, explains the name of the signature recipe and gives the shop a story people want to repeat at the table. The menu reads like a restaurant menu, one price per size and no surcharge by recipe. And each village served has its own page, so that a search for pizza in Paimpont or Maxent leads to the nearest oven.
The colours, taken from the work
Each shade is the one the site actually displays, taken from its homepage, together with the typefaces that accompany it.

Young Serif
Headings: a round, generous serif with character and no affectation.

Body text, the menu and the prices, readable at a glance on a phone.
The site, unrolled like a scroll
Scroll the page: both captures unroll with it, like a makimono, one on a large screen, the other on a phone.
